New England groundsel (Packera schweinitziana) Plants

This yellow flowering perennial loves sunny wet areas. New England groundsel spreads by rhizomes making it a useful ground cover plant. Though the flowers are similar to other native groundsels this species has larger, finely serrated leaves that are more oval-triangular than heart-shaped. Attracts pollinators.
